Dami Duro crooner, Davido, this evening, got more than he bargained for at the University of Lagos, after excited fans chased him in his car and ended up breaking one of the windows.

The HKN artiste, was in the institution to perform at the First Bank-sponsored Youth Excel Programme. After he held his audience captive with a great performance, the students refused to let him leave, trailing him to his car.

Davido, who just released controversy ridden single, ‘Gobe’, however took it in good faith.

He tweeted: “Damn they broke my car window at Unilag!! Still luv ma fans tho!! Bless yall!! Amazing show!”

Top Female Judge Accused Of Having Sex With Prisoner Half Her Age Inside Prison

A top female judge had sex with a prison inmate half her age in an interview room, authorities have said.

Lisa Traylor-Wolff, 52, is accused of having a "physically intimate relationship with a 26-year-old client" at the Miami Correctional Facility in Peru, Ind.

The Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications claims Traylor-Wolff, who is also a defense lawyer, began the affair before her lover was jailed.

The Indianapolis Star says the relationship then continued and that she represented him as he appealed his conviction.

The commission has filed three disciplinary charges against Traylor-Wolff.

She has 20 days to respond to them, before the case goes to the Indiana Supreme Court.

Traylor-Wolff is formally accused of violating four rules of professional conduct, including having sex with a client and undermining the integrity of the position of judge.

If found guilty, she could be banned for life from holding judicial office in the state.

Traylor-Wolff, who has not commented on the claims, formerly served as a Superior Court judge in Pulaski County and was the head of her county's Bar Association.

She graduated from Valparaiso University law school in 1986.

Homosexual Men In The Catholic Church

An openly gay former Dominican friar insisted today that homosexuality is the ‘ticking time bomb in the Catholic Church’ and that homosexual men are ‘massively over-represented’ within the Church.

Mark Dowd, who is now a journalist, said research for his 2001 Channel 4 documentary Queer and Catholic suggested that at least half of people attracted into seminaries in the priesthood are gay.

His comments came as the former leader of Roman Catholics in England and Wales, Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, said the scandal-hit Catholic Church must undergo renewal and reform.

Mr Dowd told CNN: ‘When you have this culture of secrecy and guilt and repression, you have conditions which foster the potential for blackmail and for manipulation.

‘This is a very unhealthy stage for the church, because basically when you have secrecy, you have lies - and when you have lies, people often are put in terrible pressures of being compromised.’

Meanwhile, the Cardinal said the successor to Benedict XVI would need to be able to tackle reform of the Roman Curia, the Vatican departments which govern the 1.2billion-strong global church.

Last weekend Italian newspapers published claims of homosèxuality and blackmail within the Church, with one allegation centering around a secret ‘gay cabal’ of priests, reported CNN.

But veteran Vatican journalist Marco Politi said this idea was ‘rubbish’, adding: ‘Here in the Vatican, there are monsignors who have love affairs, with women and with men. But they hide it.’

Mr Dowd added: ‘I've got my own experience of being in religious life myself. And I can tell you that gay men are massively, massively overrepresented in Catholic life. There's nothing wrong with that.

‘The problem is that a lot of them are told that they are intrinsically unhealthy according to church teaching. And that's not a very appropriate state of affairs if we're talking about psychosèxual health and emotional maturity.’

Earlier this week Britain’s most senior Roman Catholic, Cardinal Keith O’Brien, apologised for his failures after being ordered to quit by the Pope as a further sèx scandal swept the church.

Italian media ran stories last week about the alleged contents of a secret report prepared for the Pope by a commission of three cardinals who investigated the Vatileaks scandal last year.

Paolo Gabriele, the pope's butler, was convicted of stealing personal papal documents and leaking them to the media. He was jailed and later pardoned by the pope.

The documents alleged corruption in the Vatican and infighting over the running of its bank, which has been at the heart of a series of scandals in past decades.

But the Vatican said the Italian media had spread 'false and damaging' reports and claimed it was an attempt to influence cardinals who will meet in a secret conclave next month to elect a new pope.

3 Students Beaten To Coma For Stealing Panties

Angry market women yesterday beat three female undergraduates to coma at the popular Asaba Ogbegonogo market, in Delta State for allegedly stealing various pants at the boutique line.


Eyewitness said that the suspects were caught with the pants after they had pretended to be customers and paid for two different ones selected from the hangers.

It was gathered that the suspects’ who are undergraduates of the state owned university were said to be regular visitors to the market.

But the trust the traders have in them as regular customers evaporated when one of them, a 200 level mass communication student (names withheld) sought to be accompanied to where they could buy good pants and the suspects paid for two packets of mixed coloured pants and in the process allegedly removed three other packets alongside the ones they bought. Luck however ran out on them as the trader suddenly noticed the removal of some packets from where they were displayed.

They were said to have been beaten severely by the angry market women who raced to the scene of the incident. Police authorities at the ‘A’ Division Asaba confirmed the incident.

22-Year-Old Nigerian Caught With 1.3kg Hard Drugs

A 22-year-old Nigerian, Jude Ejikonye Ilechukwu who resides in Thailand was recently apprehended by men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, with 1.295kg of substance discovered to be methamphetamine.

Ilechukwu was arrested at the international wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

The drug which was concealed inside his luggage, was detected during the screening of passengers on Ethiopian Airline at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The MMIA Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Hamza Umar, said the drug was carefully hidden in the suspects’ luggage.

Umar said: “Like several factory modes of drug concealment, we had to practically cut the bag open to detect the drugs.

“Ordinarily, when you open the bag, you will not see the drug.

“We found two brown parcels of drugs weighing 1.295kg.”

According to Ilechukwu, he was lured into the drug deal by a friend he met in Thailand.

In his words: “I am a business man. I relocated to Thailand last year where I buy goods and send to Nigeria.

 

“It was in Thailand that I met a man who introduced me into drug business. He gave my number to his partner in Lagos who lodged me in a hotel.

“They made me to contribute N750,000 as my contribution and promised me a handsome reward on arrival in Thailand.

“My focus was on the profit that will accrue to me. It was when I was arrested that I realised I had made a big mistake.”

The suspect attended Okija Community Primary School and Okija Grammar School, Anambra State before he started business.

The Chairman/Chief Executive officer of NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade, said that the Agency will investigate all cases and bring drug culprits to justice.

Giade said; “The Agency is prepared to bring drug barons to justice. Our target is to reduce the drug problem to the barest minimum.”

It was confirmed that the suspect will soon be charged to court.

Zaha Hadid is a famed architect with Iraqi and British ancestries. She was the first woman to win the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004, before bagging the Stirling Prize in 2010 and 2011. As with any Hadid design, the futuristic-looking tap has an elongated look with powerful form and curving shape.

The Colosseo Oro includes some extremely luxurious finishing. The gold glass is stained with Venetian ink, the appliances are supplied by Sub-Zero and Wolf and have a metallic gloss, the leather is embossed with crocodile skin and there are leafings made of gold that weighs 24 karats.
