One of Nigeria’s representatives on Big Brother The Chase, Beverly Ada Osu has made several confessions in the name of gisting with housemates.

Beverly first caught viewers’ attention in the house when she was made the Head of house (HOH) and given a task memo to read to the housemates. She couldn’t read it out claiming the grammar in the memo was not comprehensive; even though she said it was a joke, she became a laughing stock on twitter for her inability to read well.

The dark video vixen also mentioned in the house that she and her friends used to do ‘runs’, extorting money from men.

Abacha ‘resurfaces’ on new media, Angry Nigerians blast his daughter!

Marking her father’s anniversary 15 years after he died in office, the daughter of the late military dictator, Gen. Sani Abacha, Gumsu, took to twitter recently to pay tribute.

However her tweet caught the attention of some angry Nigerians including that of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode who tweeted back at her, saying, “Ameen.”

But as the day broke on Saturday, the Nigerian Twitter space was soon turned into a podium for debate with some arguing that Abacha was a hero, while others vehemently disagreed on the social network.

A tweeter user called Abiodun, tweeting via @biodunonline, reportedly confronted Gumsu, saying,
K_Abiodun "Walahi,your papa Abacha no fit afford heaven. His PA Al Mustapha has been in detention since. So is an evidence where he is now"

No Bikinis For This Year’s Miss World Contestants

CONTESTANTS at this year's Miss World beauty pageant will not wear bikinis in the parade in a bid to avoid causing offence in Muslim-majority Indonesia, organisers have confirmed.

The 137 women taking part in the September contest will swap bikinis for more conservative attire, such as traditional sarongs, for the beach fashion section.

The contest is being held on the resort island of Bali, where foreign tourists flock in their millions and the beaches are packed with women sunbathing in skimpy swimwear.

But Miss World Organisation chairwoman Julia Morley insisted that none of the pageant's contestants would wear a bikini.

According to TMZ, Paris Jackson was rushed to hospital in the early hours of Wednesday amid reports of an attempted suicide.

Her mother Debbie Rowe is understood to have confirmed the reports to Entertainment Tonight and said the 15-year-old is currently at a Los Angeles hospital.
A lawyer for Katherine Jackson, Paris’ grandmother, also appeared to confirm the suicide bid.

Michael Douglas denies blaming oral sex for contracting cancer

The actor, 68,  is  currently backtracking on claims his cancer was caused by oral sex. The Guardian stands by its story and denies it 'misrepresented' the actor.

The transcript reads the reporter asking: 'Do you feel, in hindsight, that you overloaded your system? Overloaded your system with drugs, smoking, drink?'

Michael then replied: 'No. No. Ah, without getting too specific, this particular cancer is caused by something called HPV, which actually comes about from cunnilingus.'

Douglas fought a six-month battle with the disease from August 2010 until January 2011. Doctors have given Douglas the all-clear, although he still has to undergo check-ups every six months.However, the actor is optimistic he has conquered the disease once and for all. 'With this kind of cancer, 95 percent of the time it doesn't come back,' he said.
